USA/AAHA/RYHA HOCKEY COACHING REQUIREMENTS
- USA Hockey Member Registration
- RYHA Coaches Registration link AND AAHA coaches Registration link.
- Complete USA Hockey Required Training
- SafeSport Training
- Screening and Background Check (every 2 years)
- Age Specific Modules
- Concussion form signed (every year) & concussion training (every 2 years)
- Current CEP Certification - USA Hockey Module Flow Chart
It is MANDATORY for ALL Head Coaches to attend one of the following sessions:
Tuesday, October 8th 7:30 pm
Thursday, October 10th 7:30 pm
Tuesday, October 15th 7:30 pm
Thursday, October 17th 7:30 pm
***All Coaching Sessions at Fogerty Ice Arena
NOTE: If a coach needs to be added after the initial roster approval, ALL CEP requirements must be complete at that time.

STUDENT COACHES
Student Coach Registration: Send all paperwork to ryha.hockeyreg@gmail.com (RYHA families) or Registrar@AnokaAreaHockey.com (AAHA families).
- USA Hockey Registration – Select Student Coach when prompted. (If already registered as a player, you don't need to register again.)
- Student Coach Form (drop in RYHA mailbox at RAC, ATTN Registrar)
- Student Coach Training (provided by RYHA/AAHA)
No CEP/Module Training required but must be supervised with team coaching staff at all times.
For the 2024-2025 season, anyone with a 2007 birth year or older participating as a student coach needs to complete the USA Hockey background check and SafeSport training.
Can be on the bench but will count as 4 max. Must wear helmet.
Student Coaches must have completed all registration requirements and be approved on the USA Hockey Roster before participation.
